For those who don’t know (come on now, pay attention!), Pounds is a hugely promising Texas singer-songwriter who mines a deep seam of old and new country songcraft. Blessed with an effortlessly easy and plangently emotive sound, full of grit and guts and heart and soul. And yeah, he was a finalist on Season 5 of The Voice (team Blake). The guy’s going places!
