From 8pm we welcome the amazing funked up and soulfully dancetastic onemanphunkband HENRY + THE INVISIBLES. Git set for an explosive stompdown wall of sound performance. “Henry + The Invisibles’ music has the grit of Sly & The Family Stone, the rhythmic syncopation of James Brown and the guitar wizardry of Prince yet has a unique and progressive modern original sound that is definitively Henry + The Invisibles.” Awesome stuff!
Get yer breath back quick and refuel cos from 9.45pm it’s Austin’s thrilling dance sensations SOUL TRACK MIND! Blasting a mighty meld of soulful R&B, funk, pop, rock an’ blues, STM is an energetic horn-driven six piece that’ll blow your mind. According to The Huffington Post, “They come out of a gritty melting pot that includes seasonings from Booker T and the MGs, Otis Redding, Billy Preston, the later works of Ray Charles, and more contemporary influences like the Black Keys and John Legend.” To which, all we can add is a big Phoenix Saloon… Hell Yeah!
